What Have I been doing rather than blogging?
I have to admit it’s been a while since I have blogged. I have been busy over the past few months with several projects.
I helped to usher in the first postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis criminal law in the nation, IL PA 100-0574.
Attorney Barry Lewis and I received the 2018 Maternal Mental Health Award for our work in Policy and Advocacy.
Lewis and I are co-authoring a book on Postpartum Illnesses, Advocacy and Criminal Law, to be published in January 2020 by Rowman & Littlefield.
Presentations scheduled, at Postpartum Support International in Portland, Oregon in June 2019 on Perinatal Legal Issues and the ground-breaking Illinois law PA 100-0574.
