Perfect timing for this article, as Postpartum Support International Conference (in Chapel Hill, NC) begins in a few days and there will be training of health care and mental health providers in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I’m honored to attend and will be the keynote speaker for the banquet Friday night.

Susan Benjamin Feingold, PsyD

is a licensed clinical psychologist, author and adjunct professor at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Chicago Campus of Argosy University. Dr. Feingold currently practices in the Chicago area.

In her clinical practice, she specializes in the treatment of antepartum and postpartum depression and anxiety disorders, as well as other women’s mental health issues related to reproductive function.

A past board president of Depression After Delivery, a nonprofit, Dr. Feingold has been facilitating support groups for antepartum and postpartum women for the past 14 years.
