The Post-Postpartum Depression Blog

Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go;
they merely determine where you start.

I have just finished writing my book, Happy Endings, New Beginnings:
Post-Postpartum Depression
, which focuses on an unique premise: This difficult emotional disorder can actually help create a positive, life-affirming experience that changes and enriches the course of a woman’s life.

Now begins my search for an appropriate publisher!

In the meantime, I want to share some of my thoughts on this subject through
this blog.

I hope to show you how your own episode of postpartum depression has been a catalyst for transformation and an opportunity to reevaluate your life choices, and that it has ultimately led to healing and a new beginning.

This blog is meant to be an inspiration. I’d like to collect from as many of you as possible stories about how postpartum depression has changed you in some way. And in the spirit of sharing, I will provide excerpts from my book, along with uplifting thoughts and ideas (mine and yours) to help those of you now struggling with this disorder.

Let’s begin with some critical questions to contemplate:

How have you changed as a result of having postpartum depression?
How have you grown as an individual?
What have you learned about yourself or about life in general?
